Example 01
The following bar graph shows the number of vehicles sold by The City Company during a particular week. Study it and write a paragraph in about 100 words.

Answer :
The above graph debits the number of vehicles sold by The City Company during a particular week. The number of vehicles sold is indicated by the vertical axis and horizontal axis indicates the days of the week. The highest number of vehicles were sold on Saturday and it was 12. The least number of vehicles were sold on Friday and the number of vehicles sold was 2. An equal number of vehicles were sold on Wednesday and Thursday and it was 6. More vehicles were sold on Monday than on Tuesday. The number of vehicles sold on Saturday is more than on Monday. Less number of vehicles were sold on Thursday than on Tuesday. According to the bar graph we see that, The City Company has acquired a good income on Saturday, by selling the maximum number of vehicles during the week.

The following bar chart s shows the leisure time activities of grade 11 students of your school. Study the chart and write a description about it using the given words.

Answer :The above bar chart shows the leisure time activities of my school. The horizontal and vertical lines represent the leisure time activities and the number of students respectively. The activities are reading books, watching television, playing computer games, surfing internet and playing cricket.
According to the given data the most of the students like playing computer games while the least of the students like reading books. An equal number of students like playing computer games and surfing internet and it is 15 students each. More students like to watch television during their leisure time.
Overall, the most popular leisure time activity of the students of my school is playing cricket while reading becomes the least popular among them.
